Evaluation process

The evaluation will be carried out in two phases and involve experts from all the 27 member states.

 

The jurors will be teachers, national representatives of the Ministry of Development Affairs (or a corresponding national agency), representatives of the Ministry of Education (or a corresponding national agency), and experts specialised in subjects relevant to art and development issues.

Criteria for assessment

All evaluators and judges will score projects according to the following criteria:

Creativity and originality:  Contributions should represent and reach the age group of the competition. They should demonstrate significant originality and initiative in concept, style, layout and design.

Clarity of the message: The contribution should have a strong visual impact, a clear and relevant message, and demonstrate an understanding of the addressed themes.

Quality of the contribution:  General artistic quality criteria (layout, composition, style, colour, etc.) are also important.

The judges’ selection is final and no discussion will be entered into in relation to this decision.
